Local before arrival
First you notice the colorful walls, then your eye is drawn to the checkered tablecloths and large windows. The visuals may be exuberant, but the staff, led by Maria, serves dishes centered around a central ingredient. Each is fresh and basic and made without fuss. It’s as if they were made by your own mother, who is waiting by the stove and ready to ask if you enjoyed them. There’s a good chance you’ll get to enjoy some live music as well, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.
