Mario Plachutta, son of Austria’s most famous cookbook author, is one of the established greats on Vienna’s restaurant scene. He owns several restaurants and he bears the proud title of ‘king of Tafelspitz’: beef is the speciality of almost all of his restaurants. However, he makes an exception with Mario. This restaurant serves classic Italian cuisine such as home-made pasta, risotto, fish and grilled meat. The large terrace is a great attraction in warmer weather.
