This family business has been producing slippers made of felt and mixed fabrics since 1908. With an ancient die cutter for the soles and an antique sewing machine, the business’s repair shop looks like a factory museum. Whether they are open-toed or closed, or come with a felt or a rubber sole, Jünemann’s slippers are considered to be an East German classic and are favorite souvenirs today. The camel hair model is the most popular: yellow, plaid, and utterly unique.
