Joia features vegetarian cuisine that is both creative and modern. The small group of friends who launched the restaurant in the late 1980s didn’t want to forego the pleasures of a varied menu just because it didn’t include fish and meat. The same holds true for bistro Joia Kitchen, opened in 2009. Its menu includes dishes ranging from artichokes and kale to radicchio olive pesto with orange sauce to bean ravioli and chestnut donuts.
