Local before arrival
It’s uncommon to find foreign cuisine in Italy – especially Nordic. But this Swedish establishment in the multicultural Porta Venezia neighbourhood is an exception. The founder of the fashion brand Napapijri – Guilana Rosset – and the architect and gallerist Nicola Quadri have been promoting Scandinavian design in Italy since the 90s, beginning with a small store selling design objects and groceries from the North. A few years later, they opened their restaurant. Reserve a spot at the bar and enjoy the herring, reindeer and elk tartar or the exquisite salmon.
