For the past 20 years, the former Kenzo assistant has showed his prêt-à-porter original clothes in his boutique with adjoining studio. Every year, his fans impatiently await his new knitwear basics and sophisticated graphic-printed stretch dresses. A few years ago, the Japanese designer came up with the great idea for Irié Wash: a line of wool clothing that can easily be machine washed, dries quickly, and does’t wrinkle.
