The first time you stumble upon Goldene Bar behind Haus der Kunst, it’s a bit like accidentally discovering the Czar’s Amber Room. Except, this is a temple of drink with historic “alcoholic” maps on the walls and a back bar like an altar. Klaus St. Rainer, who runs the establishment with Leonie Rainer, and his young recruits combine bartending perfection with a relaxed nonchalance.
