Local before arrival
Hubertus Reygers calls his gallery a “general store,” which is pure understatement paired with a touch of self-irony. But that is exactly what makes him—and the objects he hunts and collects—so unique: old wristwatches, jewelry, exquisite cufflinks, Murano glass from the 1950s, propellers, a vintage travel bag by Hermès. This is complemented by temporary exhibitions, for example photographs of Odessa by Christian Gierath.
