Since its founding over two decades ago, the Gladstone Gallery has specialized in showcasing some of the best work in contemporary art in the city. The gallery also represents 35 artists who work with different ranges of media aside from just paintings and sculpture, including video, film, installation, and photography. As one of Chelsea’s largest, a visit here is certainly worth the effort. The lofty gallery exemplifies the local industrial aesthetic, with cracked cement floors surrounded by white, loft-like walls.
