Local before arrival
The focus of this renowned gallery is on contemporary art, whereby the media photography and video are also taken into consideration. Immediately after its opening in 1977, the gallery showed Joseph Beuys, Cy Twombly and Lucio Fontana. In addition to single shows, classic and the latest items are also shown in thematic exhibitions. The glass fronts of the new parts of the building added in 2010 create an exciting contrast to the original structure of the villa.
