Local before arrival
The Moritz success story began in 1856, when the young Louis Moritz arrived in Barcelona from Alsace. The brewery that he founded was sleekly and elegantly renovated by French architect Jean Nouvel in 2004. Today it serves a diverse and innovative menu based around beer culture. The offerings include beer that is made in their own microbrewery and served on the same day it is brewed. There is also a French-style brasserie with a well-stocked wine bar.
