BAR OLIMPIA
PHOTOS MAPS

In the 1920s and 1930s, this was where ballerinas danced, opera divas sang, and boxers battled in the ring: Circo Olimpia de Barcelona was home to a wide range of performances considered to be entertainment at the time. In the late 1940s it became a wine tavern with a cellar that provided a rehearsal venue for well-known bands. These days, the party takes place upstairs: It pays to not only study the cocktail menu, but the bar’s event calendar as well.
