Local before arrival
The objective: wearable means of reviving resistance. Sentences like “Thinking helps” or “Finally broke” have been printed on T-shirts since the end of the ’90s, at first using the “Mägde und Knechte” name. Later, political perfume, provocative jewelry, and much more were added. The artists’ collective, which includes the photographer Daniel Josefsohn, is the critical spirit in the German fashion industry with its mixture of anarchy and avant-garde.
