Local before arrival
This nearly 4,000-foot-long mall in the middle of the desert is the largest marketplace for Chinese products outside of the People’s Republic of China. The building itself is shaped like a dragon and testifies to Dubai’s large Chinese influence. You can find anything here, from shoes to aquariums to talking stuffed animals and electronic devices you wouldn’t have dreamt existed. The warm kernel corn, served in cups, and the delicious crêpes will delight hungry visitors.
