Every itinerary should include a visit to Din Tai Fung, along with a taste of the local specialty known as xiaolongbao. These filled buns are steamed in bamboo baskets and served with thin strips of ginger and rice vinegar, and no one prepares these paper-thin delicacies as masterfully as the Taiwanese Din Tai Fung chain.
