Local before arrival
This venue is a rare combination: an unpretentious, yet cool café, where breakfast and lunch specials match the exquisite quality of the brew. The décor and concept are very modern as testified by abundant raw concrete surfaces and filtered coffee from the local Henauer roasters. But the food on the short, but inspiring menu is filling and exciting. There’s American-style pastrami sandwiches on wonderful bread, yogurt served on top of sweet avocado, as well as traditional Swiss Zopf bread with updated toppings such as peanut butter, pistachios and maple syrup. The low hanging lights and warm wooden tables might make you feel so comfortable, you won’t notice when the evening shift starts, transforming the place into a cozy bar.
