A sumptuous and romantic flight of fancy, the imagined world of designer Anouska Hempel, Blakes Restaurant is set in the subterranean depths of the boutique hotel that bears the same name. The décor is rich and decadent, part Chinese teahouse, part Oriental parlour, and the pan-Asian menu continues to delight with tantalising dishes like scallops with wasabi mash and tuna tartare. The guest list can be seriously A-list at times, so play it cool.
