Pablo Flack and David Waddington rebuilt this former East End welding shop and turned it into a restaurant, which has been a meeting point for members of the art and fashion scenes since its opening in 2004. Whitewashed brick walls and some of the original sash windows from the ’30s; white-painted architectural beams and simple concrete flooring are all combined here with a classic bistro décor of dark wood and marble – so it is entirely fitting that French bistro cuisine should be served in this setting.
