This three-story, all-glass foyer and open area plaza is one of the most utilized venues for intimate concerts at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Designed initially by Pietro Belluschi in 1969, it has since been transformed into a distraction-free environment by the firm of Diller Scofidio + Renfro. Thanks to a new glass wall in the lobby, the interior of the building appears to seep into the outdoors, creating a relationship between the covered space inside and the public areas outside.
