Local before arrival
Yuyintang has been rocking the live music scene in Shanghai for over ten years. Zhang Haisheng and Joecy Wu are among the first people to bring rock music to the stages of this port city. After having to change venue a few times, they finally found a new home between Tianshan Park and the elevated railway line. This is still regarded as one of the few underground locations where talented bands from all across China and abroad can play until the walls shake.
