Rıfat Özbek was a rising star in the London fashion scene when he shifted his focus to interior design a few years ago. Yastık simply means pillow in Turkish—yet Özbek’s designs are anything but simple: Inspired by the traditional ikat patterns of the Uzbek textile culture, Özbek designs printed, woven, and embroidered cushions in all the colors of the rainbow for trendy living spaces.
