Local before arrival
The South London Gallery is internationally renowned for its temporary exhibitions of innovative contemporary art. Alongside established artists such as Alfredo Jaar, Superflex and Mark Dion, there are also newer British talents displaying their work, including Ryan Gander and Eva Rothschild. Film showings, live performances and lectures all complement this diverse program. In 2010 the gallery inaugurated additional rooms designed by 6a Architects, as well as a new café.
