Local before arrival
Anyone with time to discover Shanghai a little bit off the beaten path should be sure to visit the Sculpture Park in Sheshan. Rhy-Chang Tsao created a lovely collection with Chinese and international artists around Moon Lake in 2005. It is a pleasure as you walk around to sweep your gaze across the sculptures nestled in the hilly landscape, sometimes playful, sometimes gigantic and stern.
