Valentien + Valentien, a German landscaping firm, won a prize for their design of this garden. Small wonder, given that they turned Shanghai’s largest park into a natural work of art. The 26 glorious theme gardens, as well as the enchanted quarry with its waterfall and tidy wooden bridge crossing the quarry pond, are well worth a trip to Songjiang.
