This glass, concrete, and steel building spins into the sky like a spiral, reminiscent of a DNA double helix, symbolizing the heritage of the Mercedes-Benz brand. Visitors often don’t know where to look first—at the breathtaking modern architecture or the spectacular vehicles on display. 1500 exhibits and 160 vehicles including race cars lead through the myth and history of the iconic automobile manufacturer. From 1886 to the present day, the exhibits on nine levels with an area of approximately 175,000 square feet show a complete history of the company. It is worth booking a guided tour: The main topics range from architectural to automotive tours. Even visually impaired people can book special guided tours here, because the exhibition can be experienced by touching certain models and displays. If you want to take a break in between, there is a restaurant and a café bar in the museum.
