Philippe Starck’s playground since he was a boy, the world’s most famous antique market has recently become this new restaurant’s home, conceived by the designer and other icons of the Parisian restaurant scene, Fabienne and Philippe Amzalak. Originating from the idea of a nice bowl of soup at grandma’s on a winter afternoon, this “canteen” is a vast, industrial-style duplex with a bric-a-brac theme. But, as Starck says: “Ma Cocotte cannot be described, it must be experienced.”
