At Zinque, French lifestyle at its best meets Abbot Kinney cool. The design is minimalist: industrial chic with rustic notes in wood. The food, however, is exuberantly French. For breakfast, you get fresh-baked pain au chocolat paired with strong coffee; at lunchtime, there are savory tartines (salad niçoise served on bread from Boulangerie Poilâne in Paris!). By happy hour, it’s time to switch to a glass of rosé. The restaurant encourages its guest to linger over their meal.
