Local before arrival
From the street, the restored food truck looks like a Mexican snack bar with a few tables. Instead, it functions as the façade for one of the most stylish restaurants in the city. Those in-the-know ignore the “Employees Only” sign and climb down the stairs to the underground basement vault. Weathered brick walls and Mexican tile mosaics are the décor for straightforward Mexican fare and more than 100 tequilas.
