Local before arrival
Kinoshita is especially proud of its kappo, a kind of traditional Japanese cuisine, which it combines with its own recently promoted chefs’ ideas. The wooden building looks like the dice-shaped homes that are popular in Japan, but its rear garden is Brazilian wild instead of Japanese sleek. Among the strong choices: the surprise menu or any dishes with crustaceans. There’s also a selection of sakes which are hard to find outside of Japan.
