You know Kaá is something special when other restaurants brag about poaching its chef. It’s a bit remote but the trip is worth it. The design by architect Arthur Casas is unconventional for Brazil—clean lines and bright colors reminiscent of Sydney. But the planted rainforest in the outdoor area gives off a South American feeling. Here, head chef Pascal Valero presents light Italian-French cuisine. The fish of the day is always a good choice.
