Local before arrival
The walls are covered with patterned wallpaper, there’s a Biedermeier sofa in the corner, and light gleams through fabric-covered lampshades. No, this isn’t nan’s parlour – it’s Kafi Dihei. The cosy café’s bread, cake and jam are all homemade. Breakfast goes until 4:00PM and the dishes of the day include steak sandwiches or soups. An extensive brunch is, of course, available on the weekends. It’s a meeting place for all the city folk who would rather be cosy than cool.
