Chef and owner Hendrik Olfen has promoted the wine bar from the slightly dusty “bistro table in candlelight” to the “place to be” category. Matt and polished black, a staircase to the top floor, and reflective hemispheres on dark gray walls bring New York vibes to Cologne. If the choice of wine in the hashtag categories “crowdpleaser,” “freakshow,” and “icon” is too hard, a sommelier will be happy to help you with your decision making. All dishes come in medium-sized portions that allow you to share with others, or simply entice you to sample the menu. Conclusion: #highlyrecommended.
