Since 1996, a former terminal station has been home to the Museum for Contemporary Art. Based on private collections from Erich Marx, Friedrich Christian Flick and Egidio Marzona with additional pieces from the Nationalgalerie, this internationally acclaimed museum offers an overview of contemporary art in an exhibition space measuring 3.2 acres. Its many highlights include the blue and green light installation by American artist Dan Flavin that illuminates the Neoclassical façade.
