British star architect David Chipperfield didn’t go for half measures when he created this spectacular high-rise building in the middle of St. Pauli. The bronze-colored, shimmering hotel building rises 295 ft. towards the heavens with 20 stories. Chipperfield worked the spectacular view through the floor-to-ceiling windows into the unobtrusive dignified interiors so that the view across the city and the harbor is everywhere, not just in the 20up sky bar.
