Grimm’s fairy tale of the Bremen Town Musicians inspired ARTEC’s terraced housing complex on Tokiostraße: Just like the four animals in the fairy tale, here apartments of different sizes are stacked on top of each other—studios with an open loft and terrace on the ground floor, then multi-level apartments facing an inner courtyard, then classic terraced houses, and finally garden sheds. The roof has a swimming pool with a sun deck, and playgrounds for kids and adults are located at mid-level and in the landscaped ground-level courtyard.
