Family tradition at its finest: David Sprüngli founded the Confiserie Sprüngli with his son Rudolf over 175 years ago. Today, their truffles, pralines and, of course, the macaroons, locally dubbed “luxemburgerli”, represent the pinnacle of fine Swiss chocolate throughout Europe. In the legendary restaurant on the Zurich Paradeplatz, liveried waiters serve hot chocolate and baked goods. On Sundays, elegant ladies, typical Zurich characters, gallery owners and bankers meet upstairs for brunch.
