In 2001, Neil and his wife/partner Dede embarked on a mission—to serve the best muffins and biscuits anywhere in the city, accompanied by a cup of strong, fresh-ground coffee. Since then, their Clinton Street Baking Company has become such a popular café and brunch spot that the wait for a table on weekends can take up to an hour.
