For Italians, Cinecittà is synonymous with cinema. The doors to the famous film studio have been open to visitors since 2011. A permanent exhibition tells the story of the studio complex and temporary exhibitions widen your knowledge of film history. After a stroll through the backlot—they have a replica of an ancient Roman palace here—you can take a break in the café. You might even catch a glimpse of a film shoot in progress, as movies, TV shows, and commercials are still produced here.
