Local before arrival
This homey wine shop has occupied the heart of Chinatown’s commercial hustle and bustle since 1896. The owner, Luca, inherited it from his father. While the wine was once poured out of casks, today you can marvel at the handwritten labels of bottles on the shelf. At each tasting, crostini with tomatoes or liver paste, cheese, and fresh vegetables are served. Poetry is read on Tuesday evenings—if you can guess the author, you win a glass of wine!
