A string of colorful pennants displaying “un peu de tricolore,” draws early risers to the cute, French café and bakery. At lunchtime, regular patrons come for the salads, quiches, gazpacho, tarts and sandwiches and take them away on small silver trays. Or they sit on stools outside the café, which is only a few feet wide, and enjoy a cappuccino, macarons, and freshly squeezed juice. Others remain inside and study the notices on the public wall newspaper.
