The old Elbtunnel from 1911 consists of two complete tunnels clad with bright tiles that are 1,400 ft. long and lead underwater to the other shore of the Elbe and back. At a depth of 80 ft., the historic construction can be crossed by foot, bicycle, or car. The floating piers with restaurants, bistros, and souvenir shops are adjacent to the tunnel’s entry. From here, you can book round trips on ships and ferries.
