Local before arrival
When the scene restaurateur Stefan Tamò and his partners took over the local pub in 2010, many people were sceptical: Could this arrangement work? It can! In the restaurant on the edge of Zurich, regulars and hipsters agree. The menu contains traditional Swiss dishes and the hosts take their promises of local production seriously: The restaurant has a 17,000-square-foot mixed garden that produces vegetables, mushrooms and even eggs for the customers’ tables. After the meal, it’s worth taking a walk through the green surroundings.
