The Dresden is a supper club that dates back to the 1950s, with a restaurant on the right and a lounge on the left, where diners can sip after-dinner drinks in elegance. Little seems to have changed over the past 60 years—neither the furnishings nor the house cocktail, “Blood and Sand,” a blend of scotch, orange juice, vermouth, and cherry liqueur. Jazz musicians Marty and Elayne perform live every evening from Tuesday through Saturday, and they’ve been doing so since 1982.
