The next time you’re at Munich Airport, make sure you stop by Terminal 2. Munich-based architects Koch + Partner brought the airport operator’s demanding functional, acoustic, aesthetic, and climate requirements to life as a sophisticated steel construction. The 250,000 sq. ft. central hall won the 2005 European Steel Design Award. In total, the new terminal occupies 3.2 million sq. ft. Each year, about 25 million passengers pass through Terminal 2.
