Local before arrival
With almost 370 acres, this 100-year-old green space is one of Hamburg’s largest. The city park lake, next to the grilling area and ample spaces to relax, is a famous meeting point, with its natural swimming area and boat rentals. People who enjoy taking a stroll as well as tanning are impressed by the expanse of the park, which also features a planetarium with a viewing dome. Astronomical presentations in 3-D, concerts, or radio dramas under the starry sky are a perfect way to end the day.
