Local before arrival
The location is wonderfully peaceful: the Plattenhof is located in an old building in the university area. It’s a five-minute walk to the beautiful, baroque Rechberg garden, and a ten-minute walk to the Kunsthaus. The bright rooms are characterised by clear lines and minimalist interiors (partly designed by Molteni and Artemide). The Sento restaurant's Italian-Mediterranean cuisine fits into the Italian design. During the day, students from the nearby ETH University sit in the bar with coffee.
