Local before arrival
The Paris Mayor declared in 2002 that in summer, swimming costumes would be key. Parisian lovers of the summer months have since been able to enjoy sun bathing along the banks, bathing in the Seine not being allowed. Pavements of fine sand, palm trees, loungers, and parasols redefine Voie Georges-Pompidou as a beach. Between cafés, floating pools, and beach volley-ball it has never been so much fun to stay in Paris over the summer.
