I’LL BE OFF HELPING THEN... RECOVERING NEPAL AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE
PHOTOS VIDEO

Heiko Braun usually runs a shop in the Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood of Berlin, as well as an online shop for bags that have interchangeable cases in every motif one could imagine. Heiko developed a special affinity to the mountains and the people living there through a hiking tour in Nepal and the friendship he developed with his tour guide. He was shaken by the massive earthquake that struck the alpine country in April of 2015, resolving to go there himself to help those in need. He is now helping a family in Chaurikhara rebuild their home, which was leveled in the quake. He reports in his blog www.nepal.tausche.de (in German) about his experiences and also launched a charity drive to build a clean water system for the mountain village.

He encourages people to inform themselves about the campaign via his blog before donating.
