Once the realm of royalty, later bombed by NATO and then isolated from the international community, Belgrade is awakening from its long slumber. The younger generation has grown up free from binds of social restraint and power schemes, making it fully integrated into the European community, with creative start ups, organic fare, and raw food business ventures as found in Berlin, London, and Milan. Sandra Draganov, an online entrepreneur, and DJane Aleksandra Duende represent the new Belgrade. Both are well-traveled and want to improve the international community from their home city. Coffee shop Przionica D59B really does just serve coffee. Sandra is co-founder of the hip meeting point for Belgrade’s young crowd.
