Local before arrival
A great place to while away hot days is this 104-acre artistically-landscaped park with its gently rolling meadows, stream, and plenty of shady trees. Located in the park are the neoclassical Jenisch house, now a museum with a beautiful view of the Elbe, and the Ernst Barlach house, which features works of the sculptor.
